Wales to Face Turkey in UEFA Nations League Clash

Bellamy Backs Dragons to Shine

Former Wales international Craig Bellamy has backed the Dragons to shine when they take on Turkey in the UEFA Nations League.

Wales will be looking to make a strong start to their Nations League campaign when they host Turkey in Cardiff on Thursday.

Rob Page's side will be without the injured Gareth Bale, but they will still be confident of getting a positive result against a Turkey team that is ranked 41st in the world.

Bellamy, who won 78 caps for Wales, believes that the Dragons have the quality to beat Turkey and get their Nations League campaign off to a winning start.

"I think Wales have a good chance of winning the game," Bellamy said.

"They have a lot of quality in their team and they are playing at home.

"Turkey is a good side, but I think Wales can get the win."

Wales will be looking to build on their impressive performance at the Euros, where they reached the last 16.

They will also be keen to impress new manager Rob Page, who has taken over from Ryan Giggs.

Turkey, meanwhile, will be looking to bounce back from their disappointing performance at the Euros, where they were eliminated in the group stage.

They will be without the injured Burak Yilmaz, but they will still have a number of dangerous players in their team, including Hakan Calhanoglu and Cengiz Under.

The match is set to be a close and entertaining affair, and it could have a big impact on the race for promotion from Group C.
