Chad Mcqueen Died of a Heart Attack

Chad McQueen, who played Dutch in the 1984 classic “The Karate Kid,” died of a heart attack on August 14, 2022. He died at a Billings, Montana hospital in the presence of his wife, Angelica.

McQueen, the son of legendary actor Steve McQueen, passed at the age of 63. He developed a passion for acting at age 12.

McQueen’s Career

McQueen’s first role was a minor role in his father’s 1972 film “Junior Bonner.” He later appeared in “The Karate Kid,” “Dreamscape,” and “The Boys Next Door.”

In an interview, McQueen said, “I was very lucky to be in ‘The Karate Kid.’ It was a great film, and it’s still popular today.”

McQueen’s Personal Life

Chad McQueen was born in 1959 to Steve McQueen and Neile Adams. He was raised in California and attended Santa Monica High School.

McQueen was previously married twice—to Stacey Toten from 1981 to 1989 and to Jeanie Galbraith from 1993 to 2002. He married Angelica in 2016.

McQueen Was a Successful Entrepreneur

McQueen retired from acting in the early 1990s and became a successful entrepreneur. He owned a clothing line and a furniture company.

McQueen was also a philanthropist. He supported several charities, including the Special Olympics and the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
